Hello,

I used the following resource ( i12bretro Odoo on Windows ) to try and install Odoo v17 on Windows under localhost for a trial instance. From the resource provided, I was able to activate a couple modules (Sales, Invoicing, Helpdesk) from one day and changed my account information on another day. I didn't activate developer mode and unfortunately am no longer able to sign back in.

I thought I could try troubleshooting a little bit by clearing out the Odoo database and roles under Postgresql but I guess I wasn't as clever as expected. I also tried completing a clean install for Postgresql following the cleared database and roles but found no such luck from it.

I have a video showing where I'm currently stuck - I am able to launch the Odoo server under Python and it looks like the admin sign-in is OK, but the page does not load. I unfortunately don't have enough karma at this time to share the link. Should I try doing a clean reinstall of Odoo at this point?

Thanks for reading,

Larry

I just tried unzipping the github repo and replacing the directory, but it looks like the sign in is still frozen from signing in.

I'm no expert, but at this point you have done everything I would think of doing and it hasn't worked, so yea unistall/install.

It looks like there was something wrong with my script to start the server, this was what I did to resolve it after a clean install.
1. Shutdown the Odoo server (Ctrl+C on the Terminal)
2. Restart the Postgresql service from Task Manager
3. Run odoo.bat as an administrator

Thanks for checking in though!
