Hello.

I just installed a temporary openerp v5 all in one on my windows station. But it's always the same thing. I can't load a dump file saved from my old linux ubuntu server (openerp v5 also) thanks to postgrestools(pg_dump). Why? these are the same versions of the software. I have this error message saying : the db can't be restored.

Could you throw light for me please?

Regards.

try running a pg_restore or restore the database with psql, that you will give you more information on what might be going wrong

Hello. When i try to restore the db with pg_restore : "the file does not seem to be a valid archive". For information, when i have installed the openerp all in one on my windows station, the database has not been installed because the installer detected another postgresql server (9.1) for postgis already installed on my windows station. So i make a restoration test with postresqk tools 9.1. And my dump file has been save from my linux openerpv.5 postgresql 8.6. Could you throw light for me?
