You can sell on credit in Odoo POS by using the customer account feature, but it works through invoicing. When you assign a customer to a POS order and enable invoicing, the order is posted as a customer invoice in Accounting instead of requiring immediate payment. This allows the sale to remain open in the customer’s account until the payment is made later. However, POS itself does not maintain a running credit balance for customers; it relies on the customer’s receivable account in Accounting. For a true customer account balance workflow directly inside POS, additional customization or a third-party module would be needed.
