Hi,

In v.16 we had some automations that would create activities in journal entries (customer invoice) a few day before the due date, and a few days after.

Also, when filling-in the "reference" property, another one would update automatically.

Both trigger were removed in v.17 and replaced by "Based on date field" and "On save". I reactivated them and replaced the triggers. Since then, none of the automation is working.

I tried creating simpler ones, with no filters/criterias, on different objects (sales order and journal entries). And it simply doesn't work anymore.

Anyone has had a similar issue? Am I misunderstanding something about the two new triggers?

Thank you!

ex: An automation to create a test activity.

Model : Journal entry

Trigger : Based on date field : Invoice/bill date

Delay : 1 hours after invoice/bill date

Before update domain : none

Extra conditions : Invoice/bill date is set

other ex: An automation to create a test activity.

Model : Journal entry

Trigger : Based on date field : Due date

Delay : -7 days after due date

Before update domain : none

Extra conditions : Due date is set

Hi, thank you for your message. However, I am not using "On creation" or "On update" I replaced them by "Based on date field" and "On save".

I honestly feel like it's a bug, but support won't help me with automation rules...

Hi,

In Odoo 17 actually the On create Method is deprecated , They prefer to use On save instead of On create.

Hope it helps
