Product in the pos module

Question

Hello everyone , i instaled all the modules i needed in OPENERP 7 , and instaled the sample data while instaling the database , the problem is that i need to delete the products because i'm not interested in selling the fruits and stuff, and while i selected all the products and deleted them i got an error message and it stoped working . could anyone tell me how to solve this problem.?

Hello,

You have to create a new database without sample data.

I think you cannot delete products because they may have been purchased by some sample customers, so their account have been filled with transactions data. (There are many cascading data in foreign tables while making a sell)

Sample data are for testing purpose. Once you get familiar with OpenERP , you have to create your own database.
