I am trying to add the "product_variant_multi" module. I have downloaded a zip unpaked it and placed the folder into
D:\Program FIles\OpenERP 7.0-20130210-002135\Server\server\openerp\addons
exetuting an "update modules list" in >Settings delivers an empty "Modules Result"
I wonder what the kink here is.
P.S. Windows all-in-one here
i don't think product_variant_multi has been ported to 7.0 yet. Because it is 6.0/6.1 it will not show up in the modules for 7.0 installations
How long would it usually take until all modules are ported to a new version? How to handle such a problem if your whole business is depending on OE? Maybe you just wouldn't upgrade until it is completely finished? but how long could a legacy version receiving support?
IDK - I wish it was faster though.
