Lot/Serial Number

Question

How do I change or edit the auto generated Lot/Serial Number? The Auto Generated number is a 7 digit number. I would prefer it be a 4 digit.

Hi,
Turn on developer mode (General Settings at bottom), then go to *Settings* -> *Technical* -> *Sequence & identifiers* -> *Sequences*. Find stock.lot.number ​ (name = "Serial Numbers"). Adjust Sequence Size as you need.

I would like to inform you that to change the auto-generated lot and serial number sequence from 7 digits to 4 digits, you can follow the steps below:
Go to Settings and activate Developer Mode.
Navigate to Settings → Technical → Sequences.
Search for Serial Numbers.
Update the sequence from 7 digits to 4 digits.
Save the changes.
