Is there a way to list events other than the cumbersome event manager?

Is there a way to list events other than the cumbersome event manager?
I'm a small business who does craft shows and what not.  I'd like to show off my upcoming markets that I would be at.  Currently the only thing I find that fits this is Events - and I turn off Administration so I don't accidentally sell tickets.
I don't want to sell tickets or make it so complex.  Just a rolling / updated list of markets that i'll be at, with dates/times and information.
Is that possible?

Hi Kris,
So you are just looking to publish your events without selling tickets?
I would suggest that you just create a web page using the website.

I guess that makes the most sense.  Was just hoping to keep track of my events and have it automatically update in a module that shows my upcoming shows.
