We currently have a "customer portal" where people can log in, approve quotes, and pay for orders. I'm looking to expand use of Odoo to replace the rest of our website.

I'm having some organization issues though, namely how to structure it. For example, if the customer portal is already the "home" page (www.website.com/my/home) in Odoo's website module, how do I move it out of the way for the new homepage (i.e. make it www.website.com/customerportal or similar)? In turn, this seems to be creating other issues, like elements from new pages I build appearing on the existing customer portal page. I don't even know how to recreate the customer portal page, or I'd just make another.

Are there any guides/tutorials I could look at to get started?

The customer portal is out of the way because of its path /my/..... The public homepage is on the path /page/homepage, newly created public pages are /page/newpage, the shop is /shop/..., the blog is /blog/..., the forum is /forum/... and so on.
