Any idea where I can configure from which e-mail address the website tries to send the contact form e-mail?


I have a different domain (the company domain) from which I send emails vs the odoo hosting domain. Sending emails when using email templates is working perfectly.

On the website contact form however, I can't find where to set configure the from e-mail address. I can't find it in the e-mail templates nor in the settings of the contact form (submit) itself. I can only configure an address to which the emails are sent, not one from which they are sent.

The current behaviour is that they are sent from , which is of course non existing and hence they don't get sent.

Anyone an idea on how to solve this?

more details could help, but depending on the configurations, the solution may reside in the Website sales team's email alias (activate website sales team pipeline to see the "Email Alias" field)
