Noémie (Nemo) originally completed her bachelor of science in Biomedical Engineering at the Johns Hopkins University in the USA. After her studies, she pivoted into IT Consulting with Deloitte in Washington D.C., USA. In 2022, she founded the Sodexis Switzerland office in Geneva to lead the expansion of Sodexis services in Europe. She is passionate about using technology to solve the world’s most pressing problems and aid businesses. With 8 years of experience in IT consulting and a strong engineering background, she is uniquely qualified to help organizations translate their business workflows into Odoo and reimagine their business operations. She was a Tournament Director for Talampaya 2024.
Do you love Ultimate Frisbee? Do you even know what it is?
During this talk, participants will learn about Ultimate Frisbee, an international, mix-gender, self-refereed competitive sport loved by thousands of athletes worldwide, and Talampaya, an international Ultimate Frisbee Tournament with 350 players spanning 20 European teams, powered entirely by Odoo Community Edition (V16).
By using Odoo open source code as a base framework for organizing Talampaya, our sports club was able to professionally manage a massive Ultimate Frisbee tournament in Geneva, Switzerland in May 2024. The entire operation was run from Odoo, including: Project & Task Management, Purchase, Inventory, POS, and Partner Ledger for Customer Account management. A live demonstration will be provided during the talk showing how the POS was customized for our unique use case.
