Hi There


I'm wondering if someone can help me regarding multi-company inventory management with tracked goods as I don't seem to quite understand how this part works.


Company A is a Trade-Only company and offer LED/LCD screens to Resellers. Company B is a Re-Seller for Company B so that any trade that comes in can be pushed this way. They offer the same items and Company B is housed within Company A, so inventory is stored here and Company B pays for what they use. I don't want a "shared" warehouse as I believe this causes all sorts of problems - or at least I need a Dev to help. What I don't get is that I've synced in both companies both Sales and Purchase orders but I can't get Company B to release the items it sold to the customer because the tracked items "have already been assigned".


I'm sorry in advance if I've not explained anything well enough so please feel free to request more information but know that I've been using the platform for around 7 months or so. I've basically learnt how to implement Odoo to our company on my own by way of the community so I'm hoping that this reach out will find a helping hand.
