Hello Everyone, we have a requirement where we are trying to find the total cost across all work orders (in manufacturing) for a particular employee during a specific period of time. This is needed since the line of business is labor heavy and constitutes 90% of the cost incurred in manufacturing that corresponds to labor charges only.
Though these work orders are performed by employees we want to track the cost by employee for a particular time period at any given point.
Right now we have got Cost per hour entered in on the HR tab of the employees profile for every employee who handles the work order. So by using manufacturing reporting we are able to filter out the total minutes (or hours) by employee by choosing the "Work order -> Assigned to" field on the report. But this still doesn't give the calculated cost based on the hourly wages of the employee by the total minutes of work across work orders.
How do we go about in getting this out ? Appreciate any recommendations. Thanks
