Performance Advantage Company

Performance Advantage Company (PAC) was established in 1992 by Richard E. Young, a longtime leader in the fire apparatus industry and former president of Young Fire Equipment. Drawing on decades of experience designing fire trucks, Young recognized a growing need for reliable, space-saving solutions to secure the wide range of tools used by firefighters and emergency personnel. PAC was founded to meet that challenge by engineering tool mounting systems that improve organization, accessibility, and safety in high-pressure environments.

Operating out of Lancaster, New York, PAC began by serving fire departments across the U.S., quickly earning a reputation for durable, high-performance brackets and mounts. As demand grew, so did the company’s scope. PAC now provides solutions for a wide range of industries including military, law enforcement, EMS, utility services, and homeland security. Their products are distributed globally through a network of trusted dealers and OEMs, making PAC a recognized name wherever mission-critical equipment is used.

PAC offers a broad range of mounting solutions—tool boards, adjustable brackets, friction-locking holders, and complete kits—designed for both new builds and in-service vehicles. Every product is built with high-quality materials and tested to meet or exceed industry standards such as NFPA 1901 and MIL-S901D. With a focus on function, simplicity, and long-term performance, PAC stands behind its products with a limited lifetime warranty, reflecting its commitment to customers who rely on them daily.

From the fireground to the front lines, PAC’s mission remains the same: build mounts that work, for the people who count on them.
