How can I manually make a delivery order for a sales order?
When I do this, save and validate, I am running in to the following issue:
The goods are successfully delivered, but it does not show as being delivered on the sales order page where it says "Qty Delivered" or "Qty Invoiced" etc.
The quantity delivered does not update to reflect the delivery order, even though the goods have already been sent via a manual delivery order.
Note that the manual delivery order was created via the sales order page, clicking on the delivery tab, and then clicking on create.
How can I make a delivery order manually but also have it update the sales order so that it is recorded properly?
Thanks!
@Ray Carnes thank you for the reply. Odoo isn't letting me reply directly but hopefully you will still see this reply.
So there's no way to create that link between the sales order and the delivery order manually? I ask because goods were already sent that were not on the original delivery order so I would need to duplicate two existing delivery orders and modify them both in order to create a full delivery order.
Also is there any way to generate a backorder manually based on the total outstanding goods? Or again would I need to duplicate and modify an existing delivery order?
Thanks!
Hello,
We are facing the same issue
will this issue be corrected by Odoo? i think it should be corrected as the Delivery order is created from inside the SO.
the current behavior is very misleading and dangerous as the delivery is done but not shown to be invoiced or delivered in the SO
thank you,
Fida
trying to understand issue. you have SO, which creates delivery. why you do manual delivery?
if you not deliver from first time(not enough stock etc.), switch backorders. and when this will create link auto. Can you say main thing to understand issue-why from SO, which generates delivery, you create new one?
not saying that something ideal or system ideal, but understand main thing of issue.
