Hi,
I've just discovered Odoo and are testing the accounting system.

I've discovered a problem with making payments to an intermediate liability account; it's not possible to make the liability account "payable".
(The liability account is used to pay invoices as a liability instead of making an actual bank transfer; a good way to make transactions between two companies you own by yourself).

I've understood it's possible to make a bank or cash journal to achieve this, but I can't understand that it will be, in terms of accounting, a correct solution.
I've tried to make a Miscellaneous journal but it will not appear as a payment option.

So my question is, what's best solution;

  1. to make an interim journal as payable, or
  2. to make a liability account as payable, and
  3. how do I achieve it?

Pls enlighten me, and thanks for any suggestions.
