I want to make my products on the website to only be visible to users who are logged in. Is there a way to do it?

Yes, in Odoo 17.4 there is a way to do it through the following steps:
- Go to Settings => Website => and change the Ecommerce Access to Logged in users.
2. Now, only users who log in can see the Shop page.
is there a way to do this for different types of products? For example, having products that are visible for anyone (even those not logged in) and then a different set of products for users who are logged in? Even more specific, can I specify product visibility based on specific users or user tags?

I have 17.0, how I can upgrade to 17.4?
Depends on whether you have odoo.sh or odoo online (SaaS) the process slightly differs. odoo.sh can only be upgraded to major releases 16, 17, 18, etc...
If you have SaaS you can upgrade to minor release 17.2, 17.2, etc.
