When I use a stacked bar graph, I expected the bars to form a single tall bar. But instead the bars are still rendered side by side just moved up to the top of the bar beside it. 

Is this expected behaviour? If it is, are there ways to make function like a normal stacked chart? Perhaps there are 3rd party apps that provide a different bar chart block (I couldn't find one)?
