To try out Odoo, I have set up a personal account first on the free tier aof version 17 and today upgraded to one of the non-free tiers. I would prefer not to remain on the non-free tier.
I am now favcing problems with importing camt.053 statements provided by UBS for a swiss personal bank account.
What are the steps to reproduce your issue?
*Get an account statement (of UBS?) in the camt.053 format. The download from the bank should provide you with a SWIFT MT940 statement. Make sure the file does not contain to many transactions, as
* Check that this file is formated as UTF-8
* Make sure the module "account_bank_statement_import_camt" is installted
* Create a bank account with the following settings:
* Bank Feeds: Manual (or import CAMT, CSV, OFX, XLS, XLSX)
* Upload the file to this bank account using the import button from the dashboard
What is the current behavior that you observe?
I get the following error in the dashboard:
> Invalid Operation
>The following files could not be imported:
>- transactions_Jul_2024.mt940: Could not make sense of the given file.
> Did you install the module to support this type of file?
What would be your expected behavior in this case?
Succesfull import of transactions
