We'd like to start offering odoo solutions to our customers and we'd like to know which of the apps that appear at the footer of the home page are available as standalone solutions as opposed to SaaS hosted in odoo servers (Apps to Boost Sales, Apps to Build Websites, Apps to Run Operations, Apps to Delight Employees).

What I mean is, if we download and install odoo on a customer server, are CRM,  CMS, e-Commerce, Blog, etc. part of the odoo installation? And are these available in the community version?

We'd also like to become partners in the near future, but we'd rather test odoo in a relatively simple solution for a small customer, and we would need to have access to developer oriented documentation so we can perform some minor customizations.... and most importantly: localization (we have our offices in Argentina, so we'd need not only to translate but to localize accounting, taxes, etc.). Where do I get such documentation?

These are the 'apps' you get when you download and host Odoo v8 on your own server:

Accounting and Finance, Address Book, Blogs, Calendar, CRM, Display Name, eCommerce, Employee Appraisals, Employee Directory, Expense Tracker, Fleet Management, Forum, Gamification, Instant Messaging, Issue Tracking, Leave Management, Live Chat, Lunch Orders, MRP, Notes, Online Billing, Online Events, Point of Sale, Project Management, Purchase Management, Recruitment Process, Sales Management, Social Network, Survey, Timesheets, Warehouse Management & Website Builder.

The only ones that are not available to you are specific to the delivery of Odoo as a SAAS product, and therefore not necessary if you host the system yourself.

There is only one version of Odoo - "Community" means you don't get the additional services that Odoo offers (bug fixing, upgrade to new versions, security patches, cloud hosting,... and last but not least access to the Apps Platform - you need to install Apps and Modules manually).

Patches that are made available to subscribers of the services are for their installations, so that is how the code may diverge.

Thank you very much Ray for taking the time to give such a detailed and at the same time concise answer !!! :) Do you have any hints for the documentation part of my question, if that is not too much to ask? Thanks in advance.
