Your scanned documents are converted with an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) engine before being processed by the AI. If you upload a PDF file directly received from your supplier, Odoo looks first for any embedded metadata: barcode scanner for swiss invoices, Factur-X for french invoices, etc. That helps improve the accuracy.
