I am using Odoo13 CE & I have noticed that as soon as a product is added to cart in ecommerce, a quotation order is created  in the backend even though the client has not checked out. This leads to confusion on whether the client wants the product as I am confirming the orders manually. (b2b business) Is there any solution to this? Ideally I want the orders to show up only when the cart has been checked out.

The easiest way is to set custom Filter >>> "Status" is not "Quotation".
The list will only show the confirmed order. :D

Hi James,

This odoo process to manage cart. To identify and manage order management odoo automatically creates quotation when customer add any products to cart. We can not block this process.

But you can customise odoo to difderenciate orders coming from website shop and manually created. Probably when order from website tgen sales team is website and source/media is website. So you can identify.
