I have created a Custom field in my product pages which allows us to put Revisions in. But I cannot get this working so that my purchase/sales order can use the same revision. No need to change it only view it on screen and print it on report.
Does anybody know how to do this? I would like to do this without code so no change are made to OpenERP/Odoo.

I have found a partial solution with a custom field on my product and calling that one on my report. Which makes sure I can print it directly from the sales/purchase orders. Still I cannot get it to view on those forms because it is only defined in product. I cannot make both because then they will not be the same, and it would not be copied from product to sale/purchase order line. Thank you for reading this.
You can try by using related field from product to purchase/sales order, set store=False
