Add contacts to the seller field and not users

Question

Hello, since I am about to use Odoo SH, I would like to limit the users that are created when linking the salesperson in the contact form. In other words, I would like to know if there is a way to add a salesperson as a contact and not as a user so that I am not charged extra. Is there a way to do this without development?

In odoo.sh [1]  you could certainly do some sort of custom development to achieve this. Also, an archived user could still be applied to a Sale Order in theory.
However, I would strongly advise you to contact your sales partner at Odoo *to confirm your plans are not clashing with the terms of use or service of Odoo*.
