Integration of odooV17 with WhatsApp


We have done the integration with whatsapp. 


Current Performance:


-Templates in the system synchronize correctly.

-Synchronization test is successful.

-WhatsApp messages sent from Odoo reach the recipient.

-Problem Detected: Despite successful configuration, we are not receiving replies from customers or contacts in Odoo, neither in the contact nor in the conversation app.



We can send message but we cannot receive messages.

Hi,

Sending messages works, but incoming messages are not appearing in Odoo.

This usually happens when the webhook or callback configuration is missing or incorrect.

To send and receive messages from your WhatsApp Business account, you need to configure the WhatsApp API properly.


Go to WhatsApp > API Setup in Odoo, where you'll find the steps required to set up the WhatsApp API.

SOLVED for me: I had the same issue. I can send templates but cannot receive messages. I just updated the phone number of the administrator (Verify the user set in the "Notification" area in WhatsApp configuration in Odoo) to match the WhatsApp number and it's worked for me

Even I used demo account, I can send but also cannot receive message on whats app @@!

Cuando no recibes mensajes es por qué no está configurado el webhooks, debes copiar el webhooks que te da odoo y luego pegarlo en la sección de webhooks de metadevelopers... Debes suscribirte a los mensajes. Verdad unos botones azules donde dice suscribirse

Hi All,

Even we also could not able to receive messages from WhatsApp

I have. verified the following

  1. Webhooks are entered properly in Facebook App and also subscribed to 5 notifications
  2. I can also confirm that connection to Odoo and WA is successful by doing test connection


What I am missing?

You probably haven't subscribed to the webhook fields in Facebook console.

You should suscribe to the following:

  • account_update
  • message_template_quality_update
  • message_template_status_update
  • messages
  • template_category_update

Hi

This means mostly likely you have not configured Webhooks or icorrectly, to get the message responses. Please check

Had same problem initially and resolved by setting up webhook

Dit you find a solution for this problem?  I am facing the same problem despite I have checked a few times and deleted everything over and over again.... :(

Did anyone resolve this one? I have the same issue - I've adjusted the webhooks again and reset the tokens. Outbound is working perfectly.
