We use the description field on the tasks to write down and design the solutions for all of our tasks. We add images, notes, and important information in there. Multiple people add information on the tasks and we need a way to collaborate on them and be able to look at previous revisions and restore them if needed.

In Odoo 17 collaboration on the description field on the tasks is native. You don't need to enable any feature. Also, you have the ability to view older revisions and restore them.
1. You can start writing your notes:
2. Then in the future someone else can also add their notes.
3. To visit older revisions, go to the task, click the gear icon and then click on Restore History.
4. You will be able to see older revisions and who created them. You can also restore the description to an older revision if you need to.
there is no native functionality in odoo 17. Or should it be enabled somewere in the settings?
