Hi, any people facing an addon installation problem? The install progress is stuck forever and makes the server crash. And I have to restart the server.
The installation can't be finished even if it is a small addon.
The Function "Update App List" does not respond and no working as well.

Ensure your server has sufficient CPU, RAM, and disk space for Odoo and its add-ons. Also, Check the server's system logs for any errors or issues that might be affecting the server's stability.
The server checked CPU, RAM, and Disk are all normal. The odoo instance for test is running without problem, addons installation is normal. Only the company odoo instance can't install any addon.

Update app list will just reindex the list of module without install/update any existing record...
So seems like you have a problem of access disk if you cannot just update the list of module.
Need to see the log to be able to help you...
I have two odoo databases running in the same server. That odoo instance can install addons without problem.
