Hello everyone,

I would like to be able to invoice an order in three installments, each invoice's amount must be a % of the total amout of the quote and is defined in the quote (example: 30% when the quote is placed in order, 60% when the equipment is delivered and 10% at the end of the project).

The % of the amount of invoices N°1, N°2 & N°3 must be defined in the quotation, but as standard they are 30, 60 & 10%.

Is it possible? without a developpement?

Thank you!!

Unless you actually have your projects meant to be part of the invoicing process, one simplified approach would just be utilizing down payments, see https://www.odoo.com/documentation/18.0/applications/sales/sales/invoicing/down_payment.html

Hello,

In the case of a sales order, we can get an advance as a payment.

For example, our total sales order amount is 1000 USD.

After confirmation, the create invoice button is visible.

Using this option, we can create a percentage-wise amount, and in the last invoice, we can create a regular invoice.

Thanks.

Yes you can do it using a project plan linked to sales order.

each mile stone will be payed as % of it.

Go to Project → Projects →

Add 3 tasks:

  • Task 1: “Initial Payment (30%)”
  • Task 2: “Equipment Delivery (60%)”
  • Task 3: “Final Completion (10%)”

You manually mark tasks as complete as the project progresses.

Invoice Each Milestone Using Manual Invoicing

Adjust the invoice amount manually to match 30% / 60% / 10%
