Odoo Online Custom Plan V18.

I want to change the Stage automatically, when I receive the specific list of documents through email from the customer.

I can Review the documents manually and move it to next stage.

How can I achieve this?

To achieve this, I would suggest the following approach:

1. Create a New Stage:

Add a new stage to your CRM pipeline, such as “Documents Reviewed.”

2. Set Up an Automation Rule:

• Click on the small gear icon for your newly created stage, then select “Automations.”

• Create an automation rule that triggers based on a specific tag, for instance, “doc checked.”

3. Define the Automation Rule:

• When you manually review and confirm that the documents received via email are correct, tag the corresponding opportunity with the chosen tag (e.g., “doc checked”).

• The automation rule will then trigger and execute the specified action—in this case, updating the stage of the opportunity to “Documents Reviewed.”


By doing this, any opportunity tagged with the defined tag will automatically move to the designated stage.

This solution leverages Odoo’s built-in functionality and avoids the need for custom development, making it both simple and efficient to implement.
