I am seeing the Odoo new widget in v12 but I don't have any idea about it. Please let me know the use of widget=" char " in v12.

Hello,
for eg. into odoo you define the field as text type (multi line) but on the form you want to display the field as character type behaviour(single line). at that time you can use the widget="char".
