I am fairly new to Odoo and I need assistance with the best approach for the below use case.
I have set up Odoo for my new LP Gas delivery company. I have installed the below modules
- Inventory
- Invoicing
- POS and
- Employees
So far Inventory, Invoicing and Employees work as per my requirements and I am happy with the functionality. I am still struggling with the best POS setup for the below scenario.

My company has a main physical store with 1 cashier and 2 delivery vehicles with 2 drivers. My requirements are as follow
- I want all 3 employees, i.e. cashier, and 2 drivers, to use the POS for all orders. The cashier will handle in-store orders (walk-ins), while each driver will have a tablet that they travel with when doing deliveries to capture orders remotely on the go.
- None of the 3 should have rights to close the session or do cash-in/out (this will be handled by me)
- Each user should only see orders made by them not the other 2
What would be the best approach for the above scenario between the below options
- Setup 1 POS where each user can log in with their pin and sell concurrently within the same session with other users (if this is possible)
- Create a POS for each location, i.e. POS HQ, POS Vehicle1, POS Vehicle2
I currently accept about 7 different payment methods, so when you give guidance, bear this in mind
