Good morning,

I have a question, maybe two, I need help with. I just installed Odoo 18 Community on my local computer. Everything seems to be working fine, but I can't find the addons folder so that I can download some modules for it.

I am running Ubuntu Linux 24.10.

I appreciate any assistance anyone can offer.

HAve a great day everyone!!

The location of the addons folder depends on the installation folder you have selected, by default /opt/odoo18/addons.

Thanks for this assistance Elmessaoudi, I appreciate the help. Not showing it in that location, but I can add the directories to it there, no problem.

Now, having an issue with my odoo.conf file. It shows one in /etc/odoo and another one in /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/odoo/addons. Which one should I add the addons folder to in the odoo.conf? Confusion lolol.

You can add as many folder you want by separate them by a comma ",".
