Hello,

In Odoo community edition I can see a "New Transaction" option for both bank and cash journals but when clicking on this option Odoo shows the Bank Statements list view and I am unable to enter any new transaction.

In Enterprise Edition, when I click on this option, a pop-up window is shown allowing me to enter the transaction details.

How can I manually enter bank/cash transactions in Odoo 17 community edition?

Can anyone help please?

Thank you in advance

Hi,

In the odoo community version there is no option toad or import the bank statements. but in the odoo enterprise version, you can add or import the bank statements. That is why you are not able to add bank statements in the community version. You can achieve it by customizing the code or there are lots of third-party apps available in odoo

Hope it helps

Hi Paulo Matos,

You can use this ,

https://github.com/OCA/bank-statement-import/tree/17.0/account_statement_import_base

or https://apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/13.0/bi_import_bank_statement_line/

Thanks

Thanks @Nikhil Nakrani
Will have a look.
The module attached perhaps solves my enterprise limitations with bank/cash statements import, but it seems not to work with community version. Will check developers.
Thank you once again

Thank you very much for the update.

That's what I thought but needed to be sure.

I have looked into the apps store and found nothing related (except for the bank import - and also a module from your side) for Odoo v17. Will keep an eye on it.

As per the bank import, it is not pratical for our reallity since most of our banks does not provide an API and/or the correct file formats for the import, except for a xml or pdf file which is different from bank to bank) and thats why we do need a way to manually register bank/cash transactions in Odoo, even for enterprise edition since the "New transaction" option is not much practical for entering several transactions, even manually.

Thank you once again

Kind regards
