Hello,

i am trying to do a multi company setup with Odoo 14 (community, self hosted).

Each company has a website, the domains are directed via CNAME to Odoo host and Nginx listens to them as well eg:

office.company1.com

office.company2.com

The setup works as far as that with each of the above urls Odoo would show the corresponding website. Great so far but:

Lets say i am logged in as admin through company1 url (office.company1.com) and i create a sale order for company one, the acceptance (portal) link that is send out to the customer via email directs him to office.company1.com/my/orders.... - correct. But if i am logged in through office.company1.com but then change to the other company in Odoo admin, and then create a sale order for company 2, the email that is send out to the customer and the link still features office.company1.com/my/orders, where it should be office.company2.com/my/orders. It seems to me, that these links are depending on what url i, as an admin or worker are on at the moment and not correspond to the company on wich behalf the sale order is sent.


I googled for hours but could not find someone that has a solution for this or even sees that same thing as a problem. Does anyone has a solution or can direct me to one?

Hello

I have some problem with Helpdesk and Field Service Apps.

it seems that base_url used is self.env['ir.config_parameter'].sudo().get_param('web.base.url').

this value change after each internal user authentification

so if "user1" connect on office.company1.com, all email will have base url "office.company1.com" for all companies. If "user2" connect on office.company2.com, from this moment on all email will have base url office.company2.com.


I solved for email templates for :
- Portal: new user
- Auth Signup: Odoo Account Created
- Auth Signup: Reset Password

I have add this code

class Partner(models.Model):
_inherit = 'res.partner'

def get_base_url(self):
self.ensure_one()
url = super().get_base_url()
for record in self:
if record.company_id:
if record.company_id.website:
url = record.company_id.website
while url.endswith('/'):
url = url[:-1]
return url

But i think that not good response. I must find app who is manage send mail for templates
