I need to allocate landed costs on products I move between my warehouses. I've created a special warehouse and special location (location type is Customer location).
I've created special operation types that moves product from my warehouse to transit location.
I've created and posted Bill and LC to allocate cost of shipment. Odoo shows valuation adjustment.
But, when I try to make next movement, Odoo takes stock value (for movement) without valuation adjustment.
What did I do wrong?
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Accounting
- Inventory
- PoS
- Project
- MRP

What this say: You don't use internal transfer between warehouses. You set up delivery operation and receipt operation. With Receipt operation you can allocate Landed cost.
Allocating landed costs for warehouse transfers in Odoo can be tricky. To ensure the process goes
smoothly, it's important to make sure the warehouse and location types are set up correctly. If you
encounter any issues, consider reaching out to a warehouse services provider for guidance on how to
customize a solution to fit your needs. Additionally, integrating an inventory management system can
provide real-time visibility into inventory and costs, making it easier to optimize warehouse operations
and improve profitability.

That sounds complicated…. I don’t have the answer off top, but I think the problem is the flow is way to complex. Does that follow the base inter company transfer framework?
Hello, Scott. Thank you for your reaction.
So, the main task is to transfer goods between two warehouses belong one company but placed in different cities.
Standard INTernal Odoo transfer doesn't allow to allocate cost of transfer on standard INTernal transfer.
This is the reason I use scheme with an external transit location.
Could you please describe what do you mean "base inter company transfer framework"?
