Hi Thomas,
To post a journal entry without VAT in Odoo, you can follow these steps:
Go to the Accounting module and select Journal Entries.
Create a new journal entry or edit an existing one.
In the journal entry form, select the account for which you want to post the transaction without VAT.
Click on the Taxes tab and remove any taxes that have been automatically added.
Save the journal entry.
Alternatively, you can also create a separate journal for transactions without VAT. This will ensure that no taxes are automatically added to those transactions. To do this, follow these steps:
Go to the Accounting module and select Journals.
Create a new journal and give it a name (e.g., "Salaries without VAT").
In the journal form, select the appropriate accounts for debit and credit transactions.
In the Taxes tab, select "No tax" as the default tax for this journal.
Save the journal and use it to post transactions without VAT.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
Regards,
Ksolves!
