I am very aware of the fact that most answers can be found on GOOGLE and in the online documentation. But from what I found on Google and in de online documentation it was not clear to me that the button for importing bank statements can not be found in the left menu.

Importing bank statements is done form the accounting Dashboard, there you will find your Bank and a button to import bank statements.

From the "Odoo apps website" you can download modules to import different formats.
