how is it possible to change a receipt date of a raw material from a supplier?

Example: I want to make a reception in Odoo of a product today while physically, I received it 5 days ago.

problems: I am currently on a different accounting period than the physical receipt.

I physically received December 28, 2017 and write on January 2, 2018.

how to make sure that the stocking takes place on December 28th and not on January 2nd?
