"You discovered that several products have been accidentally duplicated in the Odoo database (same name, category, and UoM but different internal references). How would you identify and fix the duplicated products while ensuring historical data (e.g., sales, purchases, inventory) is not lost?"

if you know how to fix this please answer it?

the best option would be to archive the duplicate products; in my case, I archived all the duplicate products by adding '(archived)' at the end of each product name (e.g., 'Apple (archived)'); this helps avoid confusion in the future when extracting inventory reports and also archived items will not appear in products lists or reporting → stock but they will still appear in operations → physical inventory in some cases of scenarios
