Hello,
Odoo Saas - V18
My company sells 10 different types of engineering services. The value of each is associated with the hourly rate of the specialist performing the work. For example: 1 hour of engineering service = $60 1 USON service unit = 2 hours of engineering service 1 CEOP service unit = 1/2 hour of engineering service How do I reflect this situation in the price list? Also, the hourly rate for engineering services is updated monthly. Could I have a master price list with this engineering service rate, and then create a price list for each service so that they are updated once the master price list is modified?

Good morning
Thank you very much for your response.
I followed all the recommended steps, but when applying Price List 2 to the quote, the values were not updated.
Price List 1:
PRODUCT: Engineering base hour --> fixed price $60

Price List 2:
Product: USON Service A --> formula (Price List 1) discount -100%

Product: PDM -- > formula (Price List 1) discount -50%

Quote:
Quoted products:
USON Service A
PDM
I applied Price List 2 and the values are not updated.

Hi,

To configure your engineering services pricing in Odoo, follow these steps: First, create individual products for all 10 service types (e.g., "Engineering Service - USON", "Engineering Service - CEOP") with product type set to "Service". Assign appropriate units of measure ("Hours" or create custom "Service Units" if needed), and set a base price of $0 for each (prices will be determined by pricelists). Next, establish two key pricelists: (1) Create the "Engineering Hourly Rate" pricelist with a fixed price rule set to $60 specifically applied to your base "Engineering Service Hour" product. (2) Create the "Engineering Service Unit Prices" pricelist where you'll configure rules for each service product - Select "Formula" as price type, then set the price type to "Other Pricelist" (selecting your "Engineering Hourly Rate" as the base), then use the discount field to achieve the required conversions: apply a -100% discount for USON services (resulting in $120 = 2×$60) or a 50% discount for CEOP services ($30 = 0.5×$60). For precise price rounding, use the "Round off" field (set to 10.00) combined with an "Extra Fee" of -0.01 to achieve specific values like $9.99. Finally, utilize the "Min Qty" field to implement volume discounts and set "Validity Periods" to schedule future rate changes.

Hope it helps
