I need to set message alert in openerp so that the alerts can be viewed in inbox.The purpose of the alert is when a maintenance contract is made between the customer and the company,alerts should be generated on each month end or prescribed date so that the service engineer can easily trace the customer requirement and the details.How can this be made possible?

It should be simply email notification,but for the alert on view, please check if the popup reminder helps you on this.
