  • Business Description  

Voisin WW is a consultancy company that offers integrated solutions to Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical and Medtech manufacturers, assisting them from the product’s development to its commercialization. Their mission is to expedite access of health-tech products to regulated markets.
With a presence in seven locations across three continents and over 150 employees, Voisin WW serves a broad range of health-tech developers and their investors.


  • Pain Points & legacy systems

Prior to Odoo, Voisin WW used several business management tools. Having a different tool for each business need led them to fragmented data over multiple systems. Employees quickly noticed that the lack of integration between those tools caused them to inefficiently waste time by duplicating tasks. The company then realized it would benefit from gathering all their business management processes into integrated ERP software, from sales and accounting to marketing and project management. They also needed to include their HR management into this new solution. Moreover, they wanted the new solution to be user-friendly, which wasn't the case for most of their old systems. Indeed, their previous systems were not being used properly by employees because they were too complex to handle. An example is that employees didn't fill out their time-sheets correctly because the software made it too difficult and time-consuming. For the company, this was a real problem: it is critical for them to track how much time employees spent on every task.

On top of all that, Salesforce, one of their legacy systems, was too expensive and could not meet their requirements in terms of project management.


  • Odoo solution (apps, ...) & scope 


As Voisin WW needed an integrated ERP system, they started with the following scope: CRM, Sales, Invoicing, Accounting, Project, Timesheet, Expenses, Recruitment, Website, Leaves, Appraisal and Studio. Shortly thereafter, they completed the scope with the Helpdesk, Marketing automation, Email marketing, Purchase, Subscription, eSign and Documents apps.

  • Implementation Methodology 

A GAP analysis was first conducted to analyze and assess the company’s needs and define the complete framework of their project. Then, in order to demonstrate the project's feasibility, a proof of concept was realized. This also helped Voisin VW get a first idea of how Odoo will work for them. Once this was done, the company decided to work with both Odoo and one of Odoo's official partners. The implementation was done for 230 users on Odoo.Sh and was divided into several phases that included training and expertise sessions (Q&A sessions). The three first phases were the following: the first one was the configuration of their HR management apps, which required very specific configuration as each branch has specific HR needs. The second phase was to focus on the implementation of the Sales, Project and Timesheet applications, and, the third phase was dedicated to the Accounting app configuration. The company has specific needs for which the company's IT employees and Odoo, along with the partner, have carried out development to ensure that the solution is fully adapted to their core business.



  • Results and impact on the business 

By using Odoo, Voisin WW now enjoys more robust, cost-efficient and integrated software to carry out their highly complex projects, but also to handle their growth, as Odoo is highly modular. They now have a tailored business solution, with effective and time-efficient HR system management, as well as improved and automated business workflows for their projects. Tracking the time spent on every task is easier, more accurate and, moreover, the company is in a broader way able to use the data and provide critical insights. The company is also able to ensure an efficient ticketing service. All in all, Voisin WW is very satisfied by adopting a single system that manages all of their processes. They are able to easily manage their subsidiaries with the multi-company and multi-currencies features.
