If we want to give CRM access to our portal user can we do that without making them internal user?

Hi! No, you can’t give full CRM access to a portal user — only internal users can access CRM features. Portal users have limited rights (mainly to view their own records like quotes or tickets). You’d need to make them an internal user to give proper CRM access.
