I have a project that is automaticaly created when an order is accepted. I did this by set a project template to a specific item in the order.

In the project template i can select the project to be a “field service” project. In that case all the tasks of the project become field service tasks.

Is it possible to only have certain tasks of the project to be visible in Field service module and nog all tasks.

My practise:

The project contains 2 tasks. First is to prepare the order and that is a task that will be done by someone in our office. The second task is the field service task to actual go to clients location and install the ordered products.

Probably not without customization. The selection is based on the field is_fsm from the project. It's simple enough that it could be done in Studio if you have it installed.

Hi Tonny,

In addition to the external work-order tasks you could create internal tasks as part of your field services project template.  They appear as tasks on the field service project, but you can assign a different worksheet template and assign them to internal staff.

If you don't need to track billable time for the internal tasks, you could use one internal project and automated actions.  E.g you have an internal project that you use for all field services activities.  When a new Field services project is created the creation of the tasks would automatically trigger a matching internal task in the internal project.
