Work center has capacity set to 2.

BoM for Product A produces 1 unit of product.

When I make a manufacturing order for 2 units of Product A, the work center utilizes it's full capacity and produces two products A in a single time slot.

However, when I make two manufacturing orders, each for a 1 unit of Product A, the work center only produces them one after another.

Is there any way to overcome this?

I have same issue, does anyone have solution for this ?

Seems like it is still an on going design compromise in version 17, maybe related to traceability, as I have found the  same behavior.

I suppose that's why it's possible to set alternative WC, so you could set other WC to balance the load.

While this gets solved, I suppose it would be possible to have WC1, then WC1_a, WC1_b, WC1_c,... WC1_n as "virtual" copies of WC1 so they can do parallel MOs, even when the WC1 could handle parallel quantities matching the content on both MOs at the same time.

Hopefully future versions could have a more elegant solution to this issue, than using the hack described above.

Regards.
