Hi there, user VBOX installed openerp 7.0 on my win7 PC , and Contacts module installed, I want the user to only see contacts created by themself, how to setup? Also where to setup access control and user group. Thank you!

Before you start, make sure you have the technical features checkbox activated in Settings > Users > Users > your user > Access rights tab > Technical features

Where to setup access controls

Go to Settings > Technical > Security > Access Controls List

Where to setup user groups

Go to Settings > Users > Groups

How to only see contacts created by the user

This is called a record rule. You can see them in Settings > Technical > Security > Record Rules. You will have to define a domain and you can apply it to specific groups (or everybody). The demo data have several examples.
