CEFORD
CEFORD is a not-for-profit National Non-Governmental Organization, officially registered on June 20, 2000, and later with the NGO Bureau in November 2000. It has been a member of the National NGO Forum since February 2002. CEFORD originated from the merger of the Community Action Programme (CAP) and the Women Empowerment Programme (WEP) in July 2000, both of which were successful initiatives supported by the Netherlands Government. The organization, founded by the staff of these programs, aims to address regional insecurity and economic stagnation, operating across the country.
