We have multiple remote branches with slow internet, is it possible to setup an on-prem server (or maybe a mobile app) that will cache all local POS transactions or inventory updates and sync the data to the cloud whenever it detects a good connection?
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Accounting
- Inventory
- PoS
- Project
- MRP

Hello,
Generally, the Odoo POS will work offline as well. You just need an internet connection to open the POS session. Then, even if you don't have an internet connection, you can still do the transactions, and when the internet connection is back, it will be synchronized.
You can check this out at https://www.odoo.com/app/point-of-sale-shop

can i do an alternative solution by syncing the database locally hosted to odoo online or odoo-sh? is that even possible?
