Hi Community,


I attempted to configure an outgoing SMTP email server using OVH with the following parameters:

  • Authentication Method: Username
  • Connection Encryption: SSL/TLS
  • SMTP Server: ssl0.ovh.net
  • SMTP Port: 465
  • Email: myemail@mycustomdomain.com
  • Password: mypassword

I also defined mycustomdomain.com under Settings / Domain Aliases.

However, when running test emails, I consiInvalid Operation


Server replied with the following exception:
(535, b'Incorrect authentication data')
stently receive the following error message:

Could you please help me resolve this issue?

Alternatively, could you suggest a free SMTP server I can use to work around this problem?

I also tried using Gmail with OAuth authentication, but encountered the same error message.
