I am trying to assign members into teams in Odoo but can't find the option to do it.

I've created teams inside Helpdesk Overview bulettin, so the workers can assign the ticket for the exact team that needs to solve the ticket.

1. I can't find the option to assign members to teams.

2. Right now i've created a several teams and opened few tickets but when I filter the tickets with "My Team Tickets" there arent any results.

3. Inside Helpdesk Overview when i uncheck all the filters i see all the teams i've created but when i check only 'My teams' some of the teams dissapear. I find it weird because when i created the teams i configured everything in the same way.

Edit the team settings page (Configuration > Team) or (click manage team in helpdesk overview the 3 dots on team), enable 'Automatic Assignment' option to view the team member field. Once the team members are added you can uncheck the automatic assignment check box.

Is it possible that you have this issue on a private (invited users only) helpdesk team? I solved this by adding helpdesk team members to the "Follow all team's tickets" option. You can quickly overlook this settable option.


Follow all team’s tickets


If a user should be notified about any updates regarding tickets for this team, select their name from the Followers drop-down menu, located in the Follow All Team’s Tickets field. Multiple users can be selected to follow a single team.

Apparently, this doesn't function in V16. I created a user myself and attempted to activate automatic assignment. Saved and turned off automation once again. Even now, my user is showing up as invisible. That will become clear if I turn automation back on. However, there are no "my teams" listed.

at least in V16 this does not work. I tried to enable automated assignment and added myself as a user. Saved and disabled automation again. My user is still listed in invisible in the background. I can see that when I enable automation again. But "my teams" remains empty.
